Preferred by Nature is all set to organise an informative half-day session to support Malaysian companies, particularly those in the forestry and palm oil industries, in navigating the EUDR and the FSC Policy to Address Conversion & Remedy Framework.
The session will cover the following:
- overview of EUDR, challenges and opportunities for the forestry and palm oil sectors, and due diligence requirements
- FSC Policy to Address Conversion & Remedy Framework and how they create pathways for degraded areas to be responsibly managed following FSC standards
The seminar will close with an open Q&A session. Participation is free of charge, and seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
We invite interested parties to join us on 6 March from 12.30 pm to 5.00 pm in the Dewan Md No (Level 2), Menara CIMB, Kuala Lumpur.
This seminar is part of Preferred by Nature's efforts to create awareness of the EUDR around the globe. The partners for the Malaysia segment are FSC Malaysia and WWF-Malaysia. Special thanks to CIMB Islamic, University Malaysia Sabah and WWF-Malaysia for their sponsorships.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Chris Schriver, Southeast Asia Market and Development Director at Preferred by Nature.
