The seminar aims to provide the impacted companies with insights and understanding of the new EUDR and its implications for businesses. The session will be conducted in French.
On 6 December 2022, the EU reached agreement on a new law to prevent companies from placing commodities linked to deforestation and forest degradation onto the EU market, or exporting them from the EU. The law has included seven basic commodities within the scope of the EU regulation: cocoa, palm oil, wood, coffee, soy, cattle, and rubber. It also covers various derived products such as leather, chocolate, charcoal, furniture and paper.
