Join the movement: Sustainability Week 2025

This coalition aims to reshape tourism by addressing the genuine needs of the travel ecosystem while promoting responsibility, inclusion, and environmental stewardship.

As a flagship initiative of this coalition, Sustainability Week is a virtual event dedicated to the dissemination, promotion, and training of sustainable tourism practices. The event will focus on increasing awareness, visibility, and understanding of how sustainable tourism can evolve as a viable economic sector for destinations, businesses, and travellers.

What to expect

During this week, participants will benefit from a variety of interconnected activities designed to inspire and support action:

• Digital integration of sustainable tourism: Showcasing the region’s most responsible travel offers.
• Sales promotion: Boosting visibility and sales of sustainable travel services and experiences.
• Responsible travel opportunities: Presenting curated, conscious travel options from Latin America and beyond.

Key components of the event

A dedicated online platform will be live throughout the week. The platform will offer:

• Experience sharing: A digital space to promote, engage, and sell sustainable tourism experiences.
• Environmental Education Hub: An editorial and multimedia space with resources, articles, and activities for awareness and learning.
• B2B strengthening: Webinars, consulting, and capacity-building sessions to help tourism businesses scale their sustainability efforts.
