Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Programme
The 2020 Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard is inclusive of its assurance and technology systems. They are designed to deliver more value to over two million farmers and thousands of businesses dependent on Rainforest Alliance certification for driving sustainable agriculture production and responsible supply chains.
The Standard is used in more than 70 countries across various commodities such as coffee, cocoa, tea, bananas and many other important commodity sectors facing urgent environmental and social challenges.
Preferred by Nature supports the use of surprise audits to monitor Certificate Holders' compliance with the Rainforest Alliance 2020 Certification Program.

Rainforest Alliance’s MultiTrace platform
MultiTrace is a traceability system. The purpose of the platform is to safeguard the traceability of certified products throughout the supply chain and to enable certification and licensing. Reporting purchases, sales and processing activities of certified products is a requirement of the Rainforest Alliance certification standard.
