Hanh oversees financial management for a portfolio of donor-funded projects within the Mission-driven Projects Division. Based in Hanoi, she supports budgeting, financial reporting, and partner coordination to ensure all expenditures align with donor requirements and Preferred by Nature’s financial procedures.
Hanh has over 15 years of experience in financial management across international development and conservation programmes. She specialises in project budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting for donors such as USAID, the EU, and GIZ.
Prior to joining Preferred by Nature, Hanh served as Finance Manager for the USAID Vietnam Sustainable Forest Management Activity, where she helped build robust financial systems, oversaw donor reporting, and contributed to internal audits and fraud prevention efforts. She has also held finance roles at the Wildlife Conservation Society and ActionAid Vietnam, where she managed budgeting processes, supported partner organisations, and prepared for donor audits.
Her cross-sector experience includes both operational and strategic financial roles, with a focus on transparency, efficiency, and system improvement.
"Integrity and loyalty have always been the values that I strive for in my work. That is why I am really impressed with one of the operating principles in the core values of Preferred by Nature: "We trust our staff and leaders to do the right thing for our mission and organisation"."
