She manages audits, ensures quality control, and oversees project logistics, while developing expertise in supply chain certification. Her work blends technical forestry knowledge with hands-on client support.
Monica manages a portfolio of certified clients, scheduling and conducting audits both on-site and remotely. She provides guidance on certification standards, reviews reports, and ensures all activities align with Preferred by Nature’s quality requirements. By collaborating with internal teams and contract auditors, she contributes to service improvements and helps clients navigate evolving forestry certification requirements. Monica also continues to deepen her knowledge of supply chain and sustainability certifications, positioning herself as a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike.
Monica holds a master's in forestry science and a bachelor's in forestry Management and Environment from Laval University in Québec City, Québec, Canada. She has extensive field experience from forestry internships and technician roles across Canada, covering forest inventory, regeneration surveys, and operational reporting. Monica has also taught university courses on forestry, coordinated tree planting projects, and participated in student associations, building leadership and project management skills alongside technical expertise.
