As a Sustainability Specialist, Ayu provides advisory services to a portfolio of clients across the natural resource sectors, focusing on palm oil, agriculture, and other sectors to support them in achieving their sustainability commitments and legal compliance. This includes supporting the establishment of responsible sourcing systems, sustainable business conduct, and associated activities such as tool development, training delivery, and verification audits.
Ayu is a Sustainability Specialist based in Indonesia. She is a dynamic and strategic sustainability professional with over more than 7 years of experience in the palm oil industry. Prior to joining Preferred by Nature, she worked for a UK-based multinational group where she led sustainability reporting (ESG, TCFD, GRI), including consolidated Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and managed third-party assurance for sustainability reports. She has proven expertise in navigating complex national and international certifications, including ISPO, RSPO, ISCC, and GGL, as well as in policy development and internal auditing focused on human rights, worker welfare, and supply chain transparency.
In her current role, she supports clients in strengthening their Due Diligence Systems and responsible sourcing practices. Ayu holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISPO, RSPO, and Human and Environmental Rights Due Diligence (HERDD).
