Sarah d’Apollonia
Sarah d’Apollonia is Senior Programme Technical Lead at Preferred by Nature, serving as the global technical expert for key sustainability certification services, including Rainforest Alliance and Bonsucro. She is responsible for maintaining service integrity, developing guidance and training materials, supporting accreditation compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across programs.
With over a decade of experience in sustainable supply chains, Sarah holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Ottawa and an MSc in Agricultural Development from the University of Copenhagen. Sarah joined Preferred by Nature in 2018.
In addition to her technical leadership, Sarah supports organizational strategy through process optimization, data-driven quality monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration aimed at strengthening assurance services globally.
