Vilhelm Thoresen
Vilhelm works as a Supply Chain Specialist at Preferred by Nature, delivering FSC, PEFC, and SBP certification audits in Sweden and Norway. He manages the full audit process, from planning and fieldwork to reporting and client portfolio oversight, while ensuring that all work meets Preferred by Nature’s technical and quality standards.
Vilhelm coordinates certification audits across forestry and chain-of-custody operations in Sweden and Norway. He plans and executes audits, maintains client portfolios, and provides guidance on compliance and technical requirements. Based in Oslo, Norway, he also engages with stakeholders to ensure transparency and supports the integrity of Preferred by Nature’s certification services.
Vilhelm brings a strong academic and analytical background from sustainable business, ESG, and impact-oriented advisory to his role at Preferred by Nature. He has experience working as a sustainability consultant, working and supporting ESG reporting, regulatory due-diligence, supply chain transparency, and sustainability strategy development for corporate clients. This with a particular focus on translating sustainability frameworks and regulatory requirements into practical, auditable processes.
He holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Business and Innovation from EADA Business School in Barcelona, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School, complemented by an exchange at Audencia Business School in France.
