Ditte Steffensen
Ditte is part of the Preferred by Nature Sourcing Hub team and is leading the development and update of Preferred by Natures Sourcing Hub risk assessment framework used for assessment of legality and sustainability risks related to forestry and agriculture. As a technical specialist she is also part of the implementation of various projects related to especially the EUTR and EUDR.
Ditte works as a Technical Specialist under Preferred by Natures Project division. She has 10 years’ experience in supporting the implementation of due diligence for responsible sourcing, including providing support to companies.
As part of Preferred by Nature Sourcing Hub project, she leads our country and commodity risk assessment work, including the development of methodologies and framework and the oversight of risk assessments and associated guides and toolkits.
Ditte holds an MSc in Environmental Geography. She started with Preferred by Nature in 2013 and has a background as an FSC and PEFC CoC auditor and has participated in FM audits.
