Giacomo Mencari
As Global Lead for Regenerative Agriculture, Giacomo oversees Preferred by Nature's global regenerative agriculture portfolio and provides strategic leadership for developing and implementing projects across multiple regions. He leads project development, ensuring that our regenerative agriculture initiatives are scientifically robust, technically sound, and aligned with Preferred by Nature's mission and sustainability objectives.
His role includes shaping innovative approaches to regenerative agriculture, supporting partnerships with companies and donors, working with implementing organizations, and ensuring consistency and quality across our global portfolio. He works closely with regional teams and technical experts to design scalable, impact-driven solutions that improve soil health, biodiversity, climate resilience, and farmers' livelihoods while delivering measurable environmental and social outcomes.
In addition, he serves as Managing Director of Preferred by Nature Italy SRL, overseeing the legal entity's overall management, including its strategic direction and operational oversight. He ensures the Italian entity operates effectively, contributes to the organization's global strategy, and strengthens partnerships while expanding Preferred by Nature's presence and impact in Italy.
