Mara Colasuonno
As a Senior Finance Specialist at Preferred by Nature, Mara provides financial and accounting support for Regenerative Agriculture projects, as well as regional and group finance operations. She works closely with the Group Senior Accounting Manager and the Regenerative Agriculture team to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with organizational policies and funder requirements.
Mara's role includes supporting project financial management, coordinating with project partners, funders, consultants, and other stakeholders, and contributing to the implementation and improvement of financial procedures. She also provides regional and group accounting services, including financial transactions, reporting, period-end closing, and local accounting and tax matters, helping maintain efficient and reliable financial operations.
She has a background in accounting and finance, with experience in financial management, accounting processes and reporting working. Over the course of her career, she has developed strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
