Gestionarea fluxurilor de produse in lumea globalizata de azi poate fi dificila. Certificarea Chain of Custody (CoC) simplifica acest proces, asigurand urmarirea si transferul corect al informatiilor si declaratiilor despre produse pe tot parcursul lantului de aprovizionare.
Programul de certificare clasifica materialele in doua categorii: (1) cele cu certificarea Preferred by Nature si (2) cele evaluate conform cerintelor pentru EUDR.
Sunt disponibile doua modele CoC, astfel incat companiile sa poata alege varianta potrivita nevoilor lor:
- Separare (Segregare): mentineti separarea fizica intre materialele certificate si cele necertificate, pentru a garanta puritatea si transparenta.
- Bilant de masa (Mass balance): urmariti amestecul proportional de materiale certificate si necertificate intr-un sistem definit, oferind flexibilitate pentru volume mai mari.
Conformitatea cu EUDR
Pentru a facilita conformitatea cu EUDR, au fost incluse cerinte in Standard privind pastrarea datelor de geolocatie de-a lungul lantului de aprovizionare. Declaratiile permise in Standardul CoC urmeaza un model simplu si clar, facilitand comunicarea eficienta despre produs si despre aria de aplicare a certificarii CoC.
Aceasta certificare se aplica tuturor tipurilor de companii, de la administratori de ferme si paduri pana la entitati de procesare si retaileri.

Standardul Chain of Custody & Trasabilitate
Acest standard se aplica organizatiilor verificate de Preferred by Nature care doresc sa faca declaratii despre statutul verificat al produselor pe care le vand. Standardul tine cont de Regulamentul UE privind defrisarile (EUDR) si include cerinte si recomandari specifice legate de acesta.
Toate organizatiile care preiau in proprietate bunuri verificate, de la nivelul utilizarii terenului pana la productia si/sau ambalarea produsului final, trebuie sa fie verificate pentru conformitate cu aceste cerinte. Organizatiile implicate doar in transportul, distributia si/sau vanzarea produselor finale, care nu modifica produsul sau ambalajul acestuia, nu trebuie sa treaca prin procesul de verificare.
In functie de activitati, unele parti ale standardului pot sa nu se aplice tuturor organizatiilor.
